Put simply, photography is who I am. My love goes back to childhood and the moment that I made my first pinhole camera in middle school, and has remained constant in my life ever since. As technology has changed, my passion has grown…from my first modest point and shoot camera to the stunning SLR that is always by my side, taking a picture has always been and will continue to be part of my soul. The most precious commodity to me is the old family photo that takes you back to another place; to capture those moments for someone else is my dream come true. I love knowing that the picture I took today will hang in that baby girl’s house 30 years from now…that the engagement pictures I took of her parents long before she was even imagined are her most prized possessions today…this fuels my passion for photography and makes every sitting with every client a special gift.

I strive with each and every session to take photographs that depict the essence of my subject…to capture the heart and soul of a person so that a framed picture in your home comes to life in your mind when you look at it. I want the memory that it captures to be a permanent reminder of a precious moment in time that will make you smile every single time your eyes drift past it. This is the dialogue that runs through my mind while I work with you…taking your life at this precise instant and turning it into a lifetime.
